States of Transaction

• Active - the transaction has begun, but isn't doing anything yet.
• Partially Committed - the transaction has reached its final statement, but not committed yet.
• Committed - the transaction has finished successfully.
• Failed - it has been discovered that the transaction cannot proceed for whatever reason.
• Aborted - the transaction has been stopped from proceeding.
